How do I remove an application from the startup queue in MAC?

1. Open the System Preferences window (Click on the Apple in the menu bar and select System Preferences)
2. Click on Accounts
3. Click on Log in Items
4. Click on the lock icon in the lower-left corner and enter your administrator password
5. Select the application you would like to remove from your startup items
6. Click the - (minus) button under the application list to remove the item
7. Close the window
